Copying a Screen Image to the Clipboard

The 'Copy Image to Clipboard' option allows you to save a Windows bitmap image of the QWS3270 Secure window to the clipboard.  From there you can paste it into your favourite graphics editing program for further processing or conversion to different formats.

You can use the resulting screen images for employee training purposes or for sharing information with other users.  Screen images can also be very helpful for technical support when you need to show details of a problem not easily explained with words alone.  Unlike the 'Screen to Disk' command, which will only save the text from the currently displayed host screen, the 'Copy Image to Clipboard' command will capture the whole QWS3270 Secure window as an image including the title bar and frame.

You do not have to be connected to a host to use the 'Copy Image to Clipboard' command.
