 If the connection to the remote server fails, try to connect to a different host. This will tell you whether the problem is with the host or your internet connection.  If you don't have any other hosts, you can try the public Library of Congress our test site.  First, create a new session and give it the name "Library of CongressTest Connection".  Then set the hostname to "locisjollygiant.locbrandonsystems.govcom" (without the quotes).  In the options dialog, click on the 'Security' tab, and remove the check mark from the 'Enable SSL Connection' box.  Make sure the port is set to 23, and leave all other settings at their defaults and simply click OK.  Select this session in the 'Connect' dialog and click Connect.
