It may be desirable to set up one print queue for each printer connected to your PC that networked users are permitted to access. To define a new print queue, double-click on the ‘Add Printer’ icon in the main window, or select ‘Add New Queue’ from the queues menu.

Printers that are connected to the PC (local and network printers) will be displayed in the printer list. Select the printer to be used by the queue and specify a unique name for the queue. The queue name should not contain blanks as not all LPR programs support blanks in the queue name. Each queue must have a unique name. A comment can be entered in the ‘Comments’ field (optional).

After the initial information for the new queue (name and printer) has been entered, save this information by pressing the ‘OK’ button, or continue to set page format options by pressing the ‘Save and Format’ button. The new queue information will be saved.
