Keyboard Mapping
WIRE provides the ability to remap many of the system functions such as the PF keys, clear key, enter key, etc. Keyboard mapping settings are stored individually for each user and will be carried over between PCs as long as the user logs in with their network id.
To view the current map settings, or to change the key assignments, click the Settings icon on the status bar.
Select the 'Keyboard' tab in the settings dialog.
In the "Display" dropdown, System settings are system hotkeys which cannot be changed. Customs settings are those that the user can set up themselves.
To configure custom settings, click the link under the "HotKey" column. A dialog window will display that allows the user to change the keyboard mapping:
Place the cursor in the hotkey field and press the key(s) that you would like to use for this keyboard function. After pressing “Save” the system will save the mapping and it will become available immediately.
