Toolbar Button Functions

Exit

Exits the application.

Login/Logout

Allows the user to connect and disconnect to the Mainframe or CICS Region.

Refresh

Refreshes the screen.

Copy/Paste

Provides traditional windows copy/paste functionality within screens.

Zoom In/Zoom Out

There is an option on the tool bar to zoom the screen.  This allows an operator to enlarge the screen to make it easier to read text on the screen. 

By default WIRE will automatically stretch the mainframe screen to fit within the usable area in the browser window. 

Append

Whereas a copy button will replace everything on the clipboard with the new data being copied, the append button will append what you are copying to what is already on the clipboard.

Print

User can print out the contents of the screen.

Print All

This allows the user to print a collection of screens.  It requires that the screens be defined as a screenset within the data dictionary.

Scroll Buttons

Scroll buttons exist on the tool bar, which allow browser-like screen navigation.  Previous/next screen functionality is available in addition to scroll up/scroll down functions.
