Gets the text of the field at the specified cursor position.

Parameters

row
Type: System..Int32
Row position of the field.

column
Type: System..Int32
Column position of the field.

fieldText
Type: System..String
Buffer for the field text.

toCopy
Type: System..Int32
Number of characters to copy.

Return Value

The StatusCode indicating the result of the operation.

This can be one of the following values:

Status codeDescription
OkThe specified field was copied successfully.
NotConnectedYour application is not currently connected to a host session.
ParameterErrorOne or more call parameters are invalid.
DataTruncatedThe specified field was copied, but the data to be copied and the length of the field were not the same size. If the value specified in toCopy is smaller than the specified field, the data is truncated.
InvalidPositionThe specified presentation space position is invalid.
SystemErrorThe method failed due to a system error.
NoSuchFieldThe presentation space is unformatted.
