Using the Script Editor

The script editor is designed to simplify the creation of scripts by users of QWS3270 Secure.

Creating Scripts

To access the JGS Script Editor to create a new script, select Tools/New Script.


This will launch the JGS Script Editor if installed.  If it is not installed, it will bring up Notepad with a new blank document.  For more information on the JGS Script Editor please see here.

Editing Scripts

To edit an existing script, select the Tools/Edit Script menu item.  Choose the script to edit from the file selection screen that appears. The JGS Script Editor opens the script you selected or if you don't have the script editor installed in the same folder as QWS3270 Secure, the script file will be opened with Notepad.
