Copying and Pasting

This section deals with the copy, cut, and paste operations that take place during sessions with a mainframe Mainframe is an industry term for a large computer, typically manufactured by a large company such as IBM for the commercial applications of Fortune 1000 businesses and other large-scale computing purposes. Historically, a mainframe is associated with centralized rather than distributed computing. host.  To perform a copy, cut, or paste function, use the menu options on the Edit menu or the edit icons on the toolbar. The behavior of these menu options are controlled by the session settings in the Copy/Paste property sheet.  This section will describe the session menu options for Copy/Paste, and then describe how the Edit Menu or toolbar functions operate, depending upon the selections on the Session Menu options dialog.
