Record and Replay Keystrokes

Keystroke recording and playback allows you to automate common or repetitive tasks to increase  productivity and reduce typing errors. When keystroke recording is turned on, everything typed on the keyboard will be recorded to a file until the recording is turned off. It is recommended that typing take place carefully and as slowly as necessary to ensure accuracy.

A symbol on the status bar will help remind you that recording is turned on.

NOTE:  Key recording picks up combinations of the Control and Shift keys with other keys.  It records the two keys as one. If these key combinations have a function defined in the Tools/Keyboard area, the effect of playing back the keys will perform the function associated with it on the current host.  Alt key combinations and menu commands are not supported.
