Block Mode

Block mode Copy/Paste allows the marking or pasting of a rectangular block of data on the current screen. The Copy function will copy the area as marked on the screen. The Paste function will paste the current clipboard contents starting at the current cursor location. The size of the area to be pasted will be determined by the contents of the clipboard. When the Carriage Return/Linefeed combination of characters is encountered, pasting will advance to the next screen line at the same column as the original cursor location. When the Horizontal Tab (HT) character is found, up to 8 blanks will be inserted depending on the cursor location.
