Customizing the Toolbar
QWS3270 Secure has three built-in toolbars. Â The main toolbar is used for connecting, disconnecting, running scripts, and sending selected keys to the host. Â It also contains the usual Toolbar Buttons like Cut, Copy, Print, etc. Â The PF key toolbar can be used to send any of the PF keys (PF1 - PF24) to the host. Â Finally, the custom toolbar is used for custom command buttons. Â It also contains the drop-down list for user defined custom commands.
To show or hide these toolbars choose the corresponding option from the 'View' menu.
You can customize the toolbar by double-clicking on any unused portion of any toolbar. Â This will show the toolbar customization dialog below.
The right hand side of the dialog displays the buttons currently shown on the selected toolbar. Â The window on the left displays the buttons available for this toolbar.
To add a button simply select the position on the right hand side where you wish the button to appear. Then select the button on the left that you wish to add and then click on the Add button. Â The new button will appear in the right hand window at the selected position. Â You will also be able to see the button on the toolbar if the toolbar is visible.
To delete a button from the toolbar, select the button in the right hand window that you want to delete and click the Remove button. Â The button will disappear from the toolbar and will be added to the selection list in the left hand window.
To restore the toolbar to it's original configuration, simply click on the Reset button.
To move a button on the toolbar to a new position, select the button you want to move and click on the Move Up or Move Down buttons.
Once you are finished configuring the toolbar, click on Close. Â The changes will automatically be saved for your next session.
We recommend that you remove any toolbar buttons that you do not use. Â This will make locating individual buttons easier and prevent the toolbar from overflowing on the right.
