Creating a Trace File
To create a trace file, choose the 'Tools/Turn Tracing On' menu option. You will be prompted for a file name. You can choose an existing file to be overwritten or provide a name of a new file.
Trace files can become very large quickly. If you are asked to create a trace file, you should try to determine where the problem occurs. The trace processing should be started one or two screens before this point if possible. Once the problem occurs you should close the trace file with the 'Tools/Turn Tracing Off' menu option. This will keep the trace file size to a minimum. The resulting trace file should be sent to Jolly Giant Software with a detailed description of the problem you are experiencing.
