Changing the Cursor

QWS3270 Secure supports different shapes for the screen cursor.  You can choose a shape for normal typing mode and a separate one when insert mode is active.  You can also select a blinking or non-blinking cursor for either cursor mode.

In addition to the cursor you may also display a cross-hair.  You can display or hide the cross-hair and you may chose from three line styles.  Your style options are a solid line, a dotted line, and a dashed line.

• Normal Mode
   - This option allows you to select between a blinking or a non-blinking cursor for normal mode and to set the cursor shape.  These options can be set independently from the cursor type for insert mode.

• Insert Mode
   - This option allows you to select between a blinking or a non-blinking cursor for insert mode and to set the cursor shape.  These options can be set independently from the cursor type for normal mode.

• Cross-Hair
   - This toggles the crosshair on or off.  Choose from a solid, a dotted or a dashed line style for the cross-hair.

• Colours - You can set custom colours for all three cursor types.  To use a custom colour, enable the checkbox for one or all cursor types.  Click the 'Select' button to choose the custom colour for the corresponding cursor type.
