Fonts

The place where the choice of screen fonts is made is the Display Settings area of Session Settings. To access the Display settings dialog, select Options/Session and scroll to the Display Options icon. Click on the icon, and the following dialog appears.

One way to change the size of the QWS3270 Secure window is to change the font information. Click on Select Font, and the following dialog appears.

The font selections come from the fixed pitch fonts installed on your computer. To see how the font appears, click on it and view the Sample field. For example, the Sample field in the dialog screen above contains Courier New font, Regular Font style, and a Size of 10 points. The font size makes the biggest difference in terms of window size because the window has to increase or decrease in size to accommodate the new font size.  To change the font:

1. Select the Font, Font Style and Size that you want to see during the current session based upon the Sample.
2. Click on OK to accept the changes and return to the display dialog or on Cancel to leave the font dialog without changes.
3. On the display dialog, the changes that were defined on the font values fields appear in the sample font window.
