Creating a Shortcut

Creating a desktop shortcut simplifies the starting of QWS3270 Secure.  During the installation of the program you were given the option to create a desktop icon for QWS3270 Secure.  If you elected not to create the shortcut at that time or if the shortcut has since been removed, here is a quick method to create one:

1. Click on Start, and navigate to Programs/QWS3270 Secure

2. Place your cursor on the icon for the program.  Hold the right mouse button down and drag the icon onto your desktop.

3. Release the right mouse button and a menu will appear.  Select the ‘Create Shortcuts Here’ option and Windows will create a shortcut for you.
