Transferring License

Note: This only applies to version 5.3 or later. If you are using an earlier version, uninstall the older version from the old machine and install it onto the new machine using the original key. We recommend that you upgrade to the latest version. Click here to download the current version.

To transfer a license from one machine to another, you must first deactivate the license on the original machine. To do so, follow these steps:

1. In QWS3270, select “Help” from the toolbar.

   Open

   

    

2. Select “Deactivate” from the Help submenu.

   Open

   

    

3. Install QWS3270 onto the new machine. If you need help with installation, please refer to our installation guide.

4. Open QWS3270 and click “Help” on the toolbar, then select “Register.”

    

5. Enter the same activation key you used on the deactivated machine into the popup window and click Ok.
